The Jacobsen family’s love of good sea salt blossomed in Scandinavia. They returned to Oregon and started harvesting it themselves on a gorgeous spot along the coast (Google the “three capes”). Having created something better than we could ever imagine, yes, they’re definitely worth their salt.

Don’t ever let a grilled chicken thigh, pan-seared pork chop or baked salmon filet go straight from resting to plating without a sprinkle of this coarse salt. Drop a pinch into a plate of good olive oil with black pepper or chili flake as a simple dip for warm bread.
