We knew we had a superstar on our hands when we found ourselves begging Marc “Coop” Cooper to let us stock his delectable fudge sauces. We love them all, but there’s something truly special about his Salted Caramel. We dipped our wooden spoons into the creamy sweetness and our tongues were shocked by the originality and intensity – each bite is more swoon-inducing than the next! It’s rich and dark and made with caramelized cane sugar, cream and salted butter. We can’t believe how much flavor Coop coaxes out of those simple ingredients.
This ultra-rich, ooey-gooey jar is made in small batches near Boston. It’s got a cult following there, and for good reason – it won the sofi Gold Chef Award making it *officially* the best Salted Caramel Sauce on earth.
The iconic “drippy lid” is actually a registered trademark, made from hardened wax with a caramel essence! It’s like scratch-n-sniff that’s followed up with real taste bud satisfaction, once you reach the gooey sauce inside.
TIP OF THE TONGUE
Soften the drippy wax in hot water to break the seal. Microwave the full jar on high (without the metal lid) for 30 seconds, or heat in a saucepan with water, stirring occasionally. Drizzle over a slice of Caramel Apple Pie for true sweet and salty decadence.
